Early voting for the 2010 House of Assembly election is now closed.
A voter in a remote area will soon be able to apply for their area to be declared a remote area and to be issued with an express vote.
For an area to be declared a remote area, the Commissioner must be satisfied that electors in that area do not have a sufficient postal service to make use of normal postal voting procedures.
Note: people intending to visit remote areas can vote by pre-poll at any electoral office in Australia soon after the announcement of nominations.
When filling out the online form below, the voter must provide reasons why their areas should be classified as remote.
