Election Campaigns Fund claims - July 2025 State election

Parties and candidates that meet the eligibility criteria under sections 132 and 134 of the Electoral Disclosure and Funding Act 2023 are eligible to receive payments from the Election Campaigns Fund for electoral expenditure incurred for the July 2025 State election.

The following details are published in accordance with sections 137, 138, 140, 141 and 145 of the Electoral Disclosure and Funding Act 2023. This report is updated with new claims received, with their status and payment information, every Friday evening.

Payments to political parties

The below table shows parties that are eligible and/or have received payments from the Election Campaigns Fund, with maximum entitlement calculated based on first preference votes (FPV) received for each division in which they are eligible to claim.

A party can receive its entitlement as follows for the July 2025 State election:

  1. Preliminary payment: 90% of the party’s estimated entitlement for the election, if the final payment cannot be made within 60 days of the claim for payment being lodged. Paid within 60 days of the claim being validly lodged.
  2. Final payment: the party’s full entitlement; or the balance of the party's full entitlement if a preliminary payment was made; or the recovery of any portion of the preliminary payment above the final payment amount.


Payments to independent candidates

The below table shows independent candidates that are eligible and/or have received payments from the Election Campaigns Fund, with maximum entitlement calculated based on first preference votes (FPV) received in their division.

While members of a group of independent candidates have their eligibility assessed as a group, their maximum entitlement is calculated based on FPV received per individual in the group.
