You can vote in person at a polling place on polling day. If you can't do this, there will be early and alternative voting options available.
Nominations have closed. Candidates for the 2025 State election were announced on Friday 27 June at 12 noon. Details were published online at 12:05 pm. Registered parties and groups are presented in a designated order until the ballot paper column order is known. The column order will be updated on our website before the end of the day.
The TEC will once again host a tally room on polling night, in the Federation Ballroom at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, 1 Davey St, Hobart. This event is open to the public, doors open at 6 pm. It is anticipated that first results from polling places will be available from around 6:45 pm.
