Where's my ballot pack?

Ballot packs for the Central Highlands Council by-election were scheduled to be delivered to electors by Australia Post between Monday 1 and Friday 5 September.

There are no early voting options for this by-election.

If you haven't received your ballot pack by 5 September, or if you need a replacement, follow this procedure

Going interstate or overseas?

Applications for a supplementary pack to be sent by post closed 4 pm Wednesday 17 September. You can still visit your council to collect a new pack before the close of poll at 2 pm on Monday 22 September.

If this option doesn't suit your situation, learn what happens next

Replacement ballot packs

If you haven't received your ballot pack by mail delivery on Friday 5 September, or if you require a replacement ballot pack, the following options are available:

  • Visit your council office to collect a new pack ( view locations). This is the quickest option. There is a ballot box available on site for lodgement. Ballot packs must be in the ballot box before 2 pm Monday 22 September. Please keep this in mind when planning your visit.

If you require assistance, call the TEC on 1800 801 701.

What happens if I am unable to vote?

If you are unable to:

  • access your original ballot pack that was sent to your enrolled postal address,
  • receive a ballot pack sent to an alternative address (this service no longer available), or
  • collect a new ballot pack from your  council office between Friday 5 September and the morning of Monday 22 September,

please don't contact the TEC now. We will send you a letter after the election, you can advise of us your valid excuse then.

Impartial assisted voting

With the support of the Central Highlands Council, the TEC will provide an Impartial Assisted Voting service for any elector who needs assistance when completing their ballot paper .
